Project Overview
As the developer of the RFI Pure Radio application, I had the opportunity to create an Android application that fully exploits the advantages of modern technologies. This project was a real adventure, marked by several challenges to overcome.
One of the major challenges was the integration of multilingualism, ensuring a consistent and fluid user experience. For this, a robust localization system has been put in place.
Another crucial aspect was the optimization of audio streaming to ensure high quality with minimal latency, even on slow internet connections. Powerful streaming libraries and efficient cache management were used.
Podcast management was also a key element, with the design of an intuitive interface allowing discovery, downloading and offline listening of podcasts.
Finally, the responsive design made the application compatible with a wide range of Android devices, while integrating accessibility features for users with specific needs.
