Project Overview
EbonyLifeOn is a native application that we developed from scratch for both iOS and Android platforms. The core objective of this application was to enable the distribution of content beyond Nigeria, using a mobile platform as the conduit. We are proud to say we achieved this goal.
One of the significant challenges we navigated was the integration of alternative payment options, moving away from the typical store payment systems. We successfully incorporated Paystack and PayPal into our application, offering a wider range of payment methods for our users, therefore improving the overall user experience.
We also implemented a robust notification system. This feature ensures users are alerted in real-time about new content, fostering user engagement and keeping them informed.
It is important to note that the applications are not available in mainstream app stores. Instead, they can be found in alternative app stores, as part of our strategy to reach a wider audience.
